Spread the theory of Applied Positive Psychology.

My exploration began when I met Gretchen Pisano and Alexis Robin – Founders of P. Link – Coaching for Excellence. They introduced me to the science of Applied Positive Psychology and Martin E. P. Seligman best selling author of Authentic Happiness and Flourish. I have declared myself a P.Link Evangelist and look forward to sharing what I have learned during my amazing journey to well-being.

As a licensed P.Link Coach I offer consultative services to individuals and businesses. My purpose is to create a platform from which I might share the wealth of information available to all who are in the pursuit of happiness.

LEADERSHIP PRINCIPLES & LIFE LESSONS

There are several leadership principles that I implement…

  • Use comic relief to recharge your batteries; especially in stressful situations (humor).
  • Be kind to everybody in your organization (kindness).
  • You can’t predict everything and you must be able to adjust (love of learning).
  • When it is not going right, ask lots of questions (curiosity).
  • Saying that you don’t understand something is doing yourself a huge favor (curiosity).
  • There is never a more important time to be fair to yourself as when others are being unfair to you (fairness).

Values In Action

The VIA® Institute on Character was established as a non-profit organization in 2001. Their mission is to advance both the science and the practice of character. They aim to fill the world with greater virtue — i.e. more wisdom, courage, humanity, justice, temperance, and transcendence. They do this by offering the VIA Survey, free of charge, across the globe. Since their inception, the VIA Survey has been taken by over 1.3 mission people in 193 countries and 17 languages.

Strengths Based Leadership

In Strengths Based Leadership, #1 New York Times bestselling author Tom Rath and renowned leadership consultant Barry Conchie reveals the results of a 30-year research project on the topic of strengths. Based on their discoveries, the book identifies three keys to being a more effective leader: knowing your strengths and investing in others’ strengths, getting people with the right strengths on your team, and understanding and meeting the four basic needs of those who look to you for leadership.

P.Link Leadership Celebrating Positive Change. In a BIG Way.

P.Link Leadership was founded on the recognition that many of the companies in the world have been laser-focused on definitions their business strategy; intent on creating the organization of the future while remaining nimble and lean for today. However, those same companies had not been paying attention to whether or not the thinking of their people was “nimble and lean.” Big gap. Big opportunity.

“there will be haters, there will be doubters, there will be non-believers, and then there will be you, proving them wrong.”
